This is a truly wonderful scene and render. I would be very interested to know how you got such realism in the beach sand - especially where the water meets the shore. I imagine we'd all love a tutorial if you ever get the chance and are inclined to share it with us.

at the moment I am very short of time, but perhaps Ill be able to make a tutorial in the future. About the sand: mainly its three procedural materials: wet sand, dry sand and "tang/dirt". I use a gradient in the alpha channel to blend between those materials, pretty easy to control. The materials themself use the Fusion Shader with different noises. And thats it!
