I am wondering how you produced this excellent picture? It really is wonderful. The hands and nails are great. The cigar and smoke are very realistic. Just love the clothing as well.

I think it's excellent. Looks like Pancho Villa from the mexican revolution. It would be a great cover for a book. Light, pose and expression are perfect. Maybe the body is a bit small for that big head and the back of the chair needs some shadows but it's a great image. (BTW: I'm mexican). Congrats!

Hol amigo! Yes, big head of my model... I keep telling him, but he needs it for making his businesses. Hm... shadows on the chair... I was planning on having light from a side, but it actually looks like something is missing behind the person. I could pretend there are few sources of lighting. Great, thanks! When this project will be finished, I'll tell you what it will be covering. But nothing to do with Zapatistas, no...

The brutal honesty as you wanted it: The background is very nice, however the man does not fit it. Perhaps if he were black and white as well, he might blend in better, and you can use highlights to keep him as the focus of the picture. His fingernails look out of place, perhaps the pinkness and shininess...they look like a woman's fingers. His moustache looks...flat, for lack of a better word, and the hat looks like it was cutout and pasted on. phew, sorry, that hurt me as well to say it all. I don't know what you used to make it, but its overall well done.

If you need help its usefull to know about what aspect, because in a total it rocks anyway, maybe you are not satisfied, but most off us are about any of our works, not satified. :) But from my point this rocks.

No worries! I can take all, even if I don't, you woun't know about it ;) Couldn't agree more, the greenery could be greener. I was trying to make the person in greys, but looked like dead and I disliked it so much. The ground is in light green and gray and the chair kinda blue- grey. I am not sure if I can use more colours for that project, no matter if it lies in my nature ;) The important thing was the scarf and the bullets smile BTW: nobodys perfect.

I'm not gonna pretend I know anything about 'art', but since you asked, here it is - I think his hands do look a bit feminine, but his pose and expression are right on. I love it as a whole, think you've done a wonderful job here. You should definitely keep it up! :)

Thanks, Niusiu. What I was mostly concerned about, is if those hands are not too big (!). But feminine, sorry folks, but I am not too feminine myself, I couldn't see it before ( still have some problems with it LOL) Besides, dear friends, you're looking at one of Swedens best chefs. He must take good care of his hands LOL, everything has its purpose. If someone wonders now: could it be mican food his good at? That too (my favorite). BIG THANKS to everybody for responce.

this is so very cool agny... kept looking for you in the photo gallery & i find you are much more versitile... hmmm, honest critique for this WIP.. his hands don't bother me a bit... luv the compo, his dress & expression, ecspecially the gleam of his jewelry & chair...maybe a twinkle in his eye to match, colors look good ... the hat does look a little flat... maybe a little more shading there & on the seat of his chair... hope we get to see the finished piece! :]

look like you cut and paste his face and hand s on this pic. alone with the body of a differ person and the chair... which the part under him looks smaller than the rest of the chair[ how I know i took a pen and check out the angel of the legs on the floor] The body is a painting and the face and hand is photo...past the whole image thougth a filter to blend the whole together you pick which filter looks the best If I rigth please tell me //It do look goood thougth

This is fascinating.... I'm still trying to figure out how you did it... looks like phtography, 3D and lots of photoshop! But I'm probably wrong! I can't critique it.... I'll just sit and stare for a little bit longer. :~)

Wonderful work. Lots of detail and shades. To me, the sombrero seems to sit a bit strange and some proportions are not quite there yet. Otherwise, it rocks. Like the mono background.

Hello. I notice on your site, this image is different than it is here. So what ever became of it???? Is the one on your site the final one? I think both are great, but was wondering which one was the "real" version.

There are few more ;) All different. On my site is my choice one. The one my client wanted, together with his real name, is under professional secrecy. Thanks for watching :)
