Description

I've been wanting to do a whole slew of bird images and at last got a start on it with this bright herald of springtime. A bit early calendar-wise, but I'm not going to complain. :) Paint Shop Pro, about 5 hours.

It has the spirit of old bird plate and yet so real, would be wonderful calender image. Wonderful Varian!

I adore birds, and your image of this one is so incerdibly life-like. I love the glowing burst of orange-yellow-red on its side! Maybe sometime you can do an Australian Zebra Finch...the male. Hugs
