Description

The only new artwork for now is a old one. I painted it traditionally with oil on canvas approx. 25 years ago - as a "Homage a Salvatore Dali", who created a surrealistic work a hundred times more perfect as this one. Of all the many artworks I did in my former life only a few poor quality photographs are left. The Original of "Nice" I gave away as a gift to an american friend of mine - he died 14 years ago - and it dissappeared into Nothingness like everything. Happy to share its last imprints with all of you. Sorry for not having time to be more active in this great community these days - but appreciating all remarks and comments wholeheartedly.

Awesome artwork! This reminds me of some elements of Dali's "Hallucinogenic Matador."

Maybe this is a call out to the Universe, maybe it will show up one day! If you had not said it was an oil painting, I would have guessed digital, very original and cool piece!

Thank you all for your comments - Thank you "RedundandlyAbundant" for bringing back to my mind the original titel "Halucinogenic Matador" by Dali which was the inspiration for this piece. - and by the way: If the Original does not show up ever again - No problem! As with all gifts: - once you give it away it should be given completely - with no expectation of receiving something in return.

"Nice" painting. I think Dali inspired much of us. When i saw for the first time one of his painting i thought: I wanna be more crazy than him. His is the prolific master. Great tribute and art.

Caracoles! I could swear at first sight it was photographic collage/manipulation. The water-like drops are incredibly done.
