I signed up at Renderosity in 2000 and spent a few years being inspired by some great artists around here, and learn from them. I was moderator for the Vue forum here at Renderosity from 2004 to 2008. If you want to learn about Vue, or share some tips, I encourage you to visit us. I am currently drifting away from pure CG and more into digital painting. I wish your staying at Renderosity will be as warm and instructive as it has been for me.
BIO
I was born in France and currently living in the USA. I have a technical background in Computer Science and a strong attraction for anything related to graphism (from visualizations, image analysis to photography and computer graphics). For the past few years, my work in CG has developed into something a little more serious than a hobby, with growing aspiration to turn it into something professional.
I also have a personal website at : Linfa.net. It is growing slower than I would like but hopefully it is worth visiting. Among other things, this site contains my main gallery, a section dedicated to Computer Graphics called Tricks and Treats and a link to my Store, where you can purchase t-shirts, posters, calendars and other products using some of my designs.
My 'trilogy' of tools is Poser for characters, Vue Infinite for atmospheres and rendering and Photoshop for touching up. I am currently practicing with Painter (not much to show so far) and learning modeling with Hexagon and Zbrush.

superb work! my only thought would be to change the bump mapping on the dragon somewhat....he looks too "dragon" instead of nasty black evil thing of Dooooom from the heart of Saurons kingdom ;)

"Superb"!!!

Great work - just as I imagined Eowyn! Looks great. One thing you might want to change is the sky texture. I like it, but the light on the clouds distracts me and pulls my attention from the Witch-King to the cloud. Could just be me though. Overall, a great illustration!

Lots and lots of action in this scene. I like the rage on her face, and that Nazgul is awesome!. There's two minor things that I would have done different. First, the sky is too light. The darkness from Mordor had not been lifted completely yet. Second, her shield is a bit too big, and its center should be 1/3 up her left forearm. For the rest, marvelous image.

I really like the change in the pose and the sense of movement. You do have her holding the shield with her hand behind the boss rather than having it strapped to her forearm, and I'd like to see the witch king pulling darkness around him rather than almost a halo of light, but the sense of movement is great.

Excellent!
Turin_Returns
Superbly done. Much better than the ludicrously silly version in the lastest (and vomit filled) film, insulting titled after a great book to which the movie had almost no relation
