Yesterday evening, I finally reached the Dakka Valley after a long walk through semi-arid mountains and grasslands. I decided to set a camp here and avoid any contact with the people before knowing more about the area. I will then move to the south in direction of a what appears to be a lake. The city itself is circled by mud walls of 10-15 m high with huge mud bricks towers of 30 m high. I did not observe any human being nor traces of cultivation, music etc.. around but it does not mean anything. Let us be careful as there was many reports of travelers that disapeared in that area. More tomorrow.
