Well- here's the deal... I have no real constructive criticisms. This is a great work. I've had the previous version as a background for a week or so (since whenever it went up). The first version is far more realistic. This has more of a painting quality. They are both exceptional- fantastic work. You do a fantastic job. One quick question- what is the creature behind the rock arch? is it two creatures or is it a tail and a head showing? It's something I've never seen before under water. The original is fantastic- just like diving and being under water in a tropical environment. I could go on and on about how really exceptional this work is, but I won't. Keep it up. Let's see more works like this, and maybe a tutorial.

Hi Stanimal, You are obviously correct:) This version has more of a 'painted' look as opposed to a '3D rendered' look. and... The modeling was done 'from memory' as I was not attempting to create an exact replica of any of the creatures. The creature in the center is fictional, I have not seen it either:) Thank you for your feedback:)

10+++ i particularly love the way you changed the light-shaft(s)! among adding to atmosphere i think it is this addition that makes my irritation about the toprightcorner rock in the 1st version vanish like magic! :) ahh, those glows! everything... simply EXCELLENTISSIMOUS! i love both versions and will use this one as a daylight wallpaper & change to the brighter one at night! :D

I think Juandel is right, your first image is a regular sea workday but come the nightime, the lights go on, vibrant, alive and becomes a garden of delight :) Wonderful work

I love the beams of light coming in and the glow gives this a magical feel. I could look at this image for a very long time and still notice new details.

My favorite part of this image is the achitecture of the scene; the rock formations make the composition work so well!
