Everything you teach you are learning. Teach only love, and learn that love is yours and you are love..............

Being an artist, I have had a number of wall mural commissions to do, and over the years, I was eventually introduced to "Impasto" or "Fresco", the art of mixing paint with plaster and painting with that. When I first saw this and many of your other works Barbara, that was what I was instantly reminded of. This gorgeous piece of manipulation has not only a Fresco feel but a definitive surreal effect not unlike Dali's work. I really like this, and give it my heartfelt vote!

She can still dream as long as she opens her heart. I do love your artwork, Barbara!

...of castles in the sky, charming princes, and happy endings. She still does once in a while, but they are getter less frequent. Wonderful portrait of her soul, a picture of lost hope but with a look of patience on her face. The castles at her feet will one day return to the sky.

Das Schlogibt dem Bild ein gesamtes gotisch Ambiente . . . ! Es ist fast als ob die jung Frau ein Gefangener in diesem verbietenden Steinbergfried ist . . . !

Beautiful pose, agree with redbeards comment about "girlish" dreams of princes... Your composition is appealing and contemplative.
