thought it looked familiar, good job mia. only suggestion i got is to make the texture of the rock more detailed. kinda sticks out compared to the texture on the house (the gray bricks)

This is good, I once did something similar in Bryce but I couldn't get the surroundings as good as you've done. Keep it up, I look forward to finished render.

Hi mia... until this is a wip I think that you have some truble with the scale of the house and the trees. Probably the trees (the foliage) is to big for the scale of the house. Some more detailed bumps/diplacements maps over the rock (under the house) is needed... The material of the bricks is more brown/yellowish (probably is not so 'granitic' like you have here). By the way is a beutiful work ! Congrats

I've been to Bear Run, Pa. to see this house 4 times in my life, and will likely go a few more, as well, before my time is up. Accuracy shouldn't be your objective, here... interpretation should, so don't worry about the metal being less red than it should be, or the stone not being perfect. This house is living proof that great architecture IS pure art in it's ultimate form. Take it and run with it... very nice work!

Great idea. Frank Loyd Wright was a great architect and from what I've read he incorporated that into his home.

Your architectural modelling is very impressive. Was the vegetation made with Xfrog?
