The different shades give the image a lovely sense of depth.. The dark treeline on the horizon and the foreground shadow would have made an interesting cropping lines also..

You live in a very beautiful place and you can imagine a traveller hundreds of years ago walking down the hill to the church in the hope of receiving hospitality from the ministry. Lovely.
