Description

Hey, My first try at painted clothes! This is the Vicki2 model with my own texture and Kozaburo hair. I rendered her nude, opened in Photoshop Pro 7 and attempted to follow a tutorial (found here on home tutorials page) and started painting. All clothing, including the undies showing faintly beneath the dress, was painted. I used dodge, burn and smudge tools. Then used hue & saturation and brightness & contrast. As you see in the light gray and the red dress, the highlight is too bright. That is from trying the sharpen filter in following the tut. On the darker dress, I did not use any filter. As you cast a critical eye over this image, bare in mind that all work was done with an opitical mouse. No tablet or pen (sure wish I had one). Now having jabbered about the technique, I'll shut up. So, what do you think? :-)

It's looking great! Practice is all to the good, and it the baby steps we all have to take to get where we want to go. At least this is what I keep telling myself, since I'm learning also! You're doing fine!! -SeaC- :)

For your first time wow!! Keep on going. Little tip if yah wanna clean up those edges for a sharper nor blurry is select your outfit invert it and press delete. Then use your sharpen tool and lighly go around your edges. Hope helps some.
