Description

This image is dedicated to all the folks who have been helpful to me in understanding AlphaPlanes. Mainly Gebe for her tutorials, and Rick for his video. Also to all the others who commented, or encouraged me either through a comment, or a hint. Thanks very much it is appreciated. ********** Whats what:Sky, sea and terrain and coconut palms are from the program disks. terrain texture from one of my photographs. All other objects are AlphaPlanes. The longtailed Tropic birds, the Pelican, the driftwood the grape tree. It took three one on top of each other to create it. The lighting was a pain in the neck. Thanks for looking and commenting if you care to, it is always appreciated. Stay Healthy, Deevee, Joe.

Nicely done. I like the brightness of this picture. The leaves on the right are very impressive too.

Great, - but with so many alphaplanes it's rather 2D scene that should be located in 2D gallery and not in Vue... Whatever, it's a nice place, and I wish to be there :-)))

Thanks for your comments, they are appreciated. I think the moderators do an excellent job in deciding in which gallery an image should be placed. Plus Alphaplanes are in itergral part of Vue, as explained in the manual. Plus if I did not mention that they were Alphaplanes how many folks whould have known, that is the question?

Hey Joe...never mind what czarnyrobet said. Your work with the alpha's is perfect. You have worked very hard to make them look real and unnoticed. WELL DONE my friend!!
