Welcome everyone to my homepage.
I discovered Renderosity's web site in September 03. I saw a posting from the "Hobbit" "Andy Simmons" and the next day I went out and got Bryce 3-D software. Never did any computer graphics or artwork before but always wanted to. Thanks Andy, Bryce and all of you at Renderosity for opening up a whole new world. Please visit my gallery and feel free to leave comments! Thanks and enjoy!BIOStarted computer graphics: September 2003
Hobbies: music, photography, kayaking, astronomy, (quiet!) long-distance motorcycle touring.

If there was a life form on Mars witnessing the rovers how would it describe what it was seeing? Hard to decide what it is, or isn't - as you intended I suspect. Mankind's first act - was to litter with pieces of balloons. Perhaps this is litter. View a while and make up your own mind. LOL.

Out of a $1.5 trillion budget, less than 1% is spent on the entire space program! For every dollar the US spends it receives seven dollars back in the form of corporate and personal income taxes from increased jobs and economic growth. Not to mention the incredible advancements in technology and other spinoffs in: computer technology, consumer/home/recreation, environmental and resource management, health and medicine, industrial productivity/Manufacturing technology, public safety, transportation. ...... Explore!....... Learn!....... Live!........

Per request the Drake equation: Dr. Frank Drake in 1961 devised an approach to estimate the number of technological civilizations that may exist in our galaxy. Where, N= the number of civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy whose electromechanical emissions are detectable. R*= the rate of formation of stars suitable for the development of intelligent life. fp= the fraction of those stars with planetary systems. Ne= the number of planets, per solar system, with an environment suitable for life. fl= the fraction of suitable planets on which life actually appears. fi= the fraction of life bearing planets on which intelligent life emerges. fc= the fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into space. L= the length of time such civilizations released detectable signals into space. Now we know that life can exist by chemosynthesis and not just photosynthesis this must have changed the equation dynamically. What you think?

Are you saying we may be being spied on???? I must close the drapes. Love the colors Beemer, cool concept!

Wonderful idea General! If I find this in my backyard, I'm going to poke it with a stick!! Of course it would probably vaporize me on the spot. Seriously though, we can't be alone because God in his infinite wisdom would not leave a universe with humans as the only intelligent life. That thinking is more human arrogance than anything else. Excellent work!!

Interesting, Beemer! Missed this one somehow. I sure hope we're not alone in the Cosmos. Somebody has to bail us out eventually...! Good pic as well.

1st: Excellent art! 2nd: The universe is so large that if it took zero time to travel between stars and you could study a whole solar system in 1 second... You would still see only a fraction of it before it exhausts it's energy and dissipates. Not to mention, all that would come, exist and disappear while you where elsewhere. To think this was all for us is the ultimate expression of human arrogance. When one learns the nature of a universe, one realizes that this One is only One of an almost infinite number of other universes not connected in any way to this one! And lastly, In all our space missions, only a very small fraction is spent on what leaves the earth, the vast majority of money goes to people for all levels of salary in labor and materials processing. Need I say I'm somewhat passionate about these subjects? Speaking of subjects, love this piece and am scoping some of your galley, which also is too vast to explore in the time I have. (lol) Dave :^>
