Description
San Francisco, Ferry Plaza Market.
The building was heavily damaged in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Now it's been restored, mostly finished, finally occupied, open and very busy, early on a Saturday morning.
I enjoy it, because several of my favorite local farmers who operated from tents in the parking lot, now have permanent locations indoors. And there is a new crop of vendors with tents outside, too!

AH, the market. Gives me an idea, I think I'll take a pic of the saturday farmers market in Hilo to post, I bet you'll get a kick out of the contrast! Good hip-shot.
