One of my first trys at doing a planet. 100% Terragen except for the border and the name. Comments please. They help me to learn. Thanks

For a planet, it will look more realistic if the detail is very fine. You should render it much larger. On the surface map individual layer dialog, under "advanced distribution", there is a slider for scale + depth. It would appear that if you move this all the way to the left, it will make the individual particles or bumps of your surface very small. Once you have rendered large, resize and sharpen slightly. This is a good start!

This is a cool concept! I'm wondering how you did that. I've been trying the space-tutorials on the web to get something similar, but not good as this by far. For the rest I have to agree with PatGoltz. I like this style, great job!
