Description

Just a quick one - been texturing this castle model by Illkirch on and off for a couple of months now, finally got round to using it. Excellent work! The texturing is excellent and does indeed look like a design feature! The trees and the deer are nicely set!

The setting is beautiful.. I think the textures work well, but there is something strange with the rooftiles.. Benny

Thanks for the comments...Benny, I've looked at that section of roof on the model and it appears that the polygons are oriented in a different direction. I've tried several combinations of the texture settings to try and change it but nothing works. Short of editing the model, which I can't do, there's not a lot that can be done about it. Thanks for the input. I don't feel that it detracts greatly from the overall picture, but I guess everyone will notice it now!LOL - Let's just assume that it is just a poor roof repair job!

Sure the roof has been patched after the storm in '86 and ancient tiles are hard to find so .. it shows a little... But frankly this castle is superb and surroundings very romantic.. Excellent work!
