Description

There is a majesty about powered flight that still leaves me in awe after every flight. The mere fact that man has achieved the age old dream of flying amongst the birds in the clouds... Every flight I take I sit there with a stupid grin on my face during take-off... The acceleration, the feeling of the landing gear lifting off the tarmac, the glance out the window that tells me that yes, we are indeed airborne... *sigh* Then looking out over the world below, looking for landmarks you recognise, as they dwindle into the distance... I love it. My only wish is that airlines would accomodate tall passengers a little better. Only recently have the new airbus's been redesigned for more legroom, etc. Fortunately the last flight I took I had a row to myself so I could stretch out a bit.

Good set Tim. I know what you mean about flying. My only beef is with the sore neck I always end up with, (and dirty windows). I usually like to stare out for most of the flight. If you've got the window seat and I'm sitting next to you.... boy your gonna get squashed! LOL thanks. Larys right, anymore?

Shame on you for not remembering that the world has just celebrated it's 100th anniversary of powered flight. Nice montage, suggest you claim some revenue from SAA for the exposure.
