Description

And here is the final scene. The creatures are nesting in the boiler room of a spacestation...The big fat mama to the right is producing those cocoons, and as you can see some have already hatched ... buuhu. I hope you guys like it. Any comments would be great. All the best from your beDIFFERENT-Team. www.bediff.com

Great work .. looks like you've spent lots of time on this. Really odd modelling you have for the charactors (displacement?). My comments would be that you have a little too much contrast going on. This has given the image less dimension. I would love to see this with way more subtle lighting (more dark areas). Also some DOF would bring it alive. Great work.

It is really excellent, but the Aliens dont fit into the look of the environment. Almost looks like a photo manipulation and although I know that it isnt, a strange feeling remains, that makes me wonder if I love it, or if it ruins the look of it.

sdaniels: to your question: Yes it is a displacement map on the Creature, but i shaped the Body out of landscape-primitive, that gives the Creatures quite an organic feeling. Ou and by the way the renders of the corrected version are finished we will upload them tomorrow. Greeeeeets
