What a cool looking island! Beaches offer such great photo opportunity. I don't know how I feel about the rock being in the foreground, but hey I'm not an expert. lol. This is still a beautiful shot, a place I wouldn't mind being. :)

I've never seen a beach with such rocks. Like Drmz, I wouldn't have focused on the rock but on the beach itself, but that's just a choice thing

It appears from the rock that the water level has either gone down or the island has grown up. It gives an interesting rock view. :O))

Neat shot. Not the perfect vacation beach perhaps, but certainly intriguing.

Thought it was a giant shell in the foreground at first. Seems an inhospitable place (probably a Club Med around the corner though right?)

no, no Club Med around the corner, this island is beautiful, but with a population of 900 and not that many tourists,(the only way to get there was on a small bumpy Cessna) not much was happening. But it's a beautiful island to set up camp on. and not all the beaches are like this, they are mostly gorgeous white sand, and clear water . Thank you all so much for your comments.
