My first decent attempt at rays. Not very satisfied, though! Advice, tips & tricks greatly appreciated. Thanks for stopping by.

The clouds are maybe a bit to 'obvious' .. the result is cool though !

I don't know what you can do much better than you did. Excellent rays and the clouds WOWOWOW. The terrain and its textures are fantastic also.

I tend to agree with all of the above. Maybe you culd increase the background lighting to 100% as a test to see if you can pick up more details in the shadow areas. Excellent work.

Tr belle ambiance (lumie, ombre, rayons) , la texture colle bien au terrain :) Juste les nuages qui sont un peux bizarres !

Beaux rayons en effet ! Pour les nuages, en gal il faut baisser le density contrast ou bien le darkening, mais risque de rendre les rayons moins visibles. Faut essayer !

The rays show of excellent, especially in the background!! I like the light spots on the terrain. May be you could place one spot more to the front by lowering the suns altitude?! And (as you've asked for advice) I would change the pov so one doesn't see the end of the terrain too obviously.

Love your terrain and your water. The rays are good. It's the clouds that don't look right. You'll just have to experiment with them. I don't have any cut and dried answers for that one. Perhaps a little extra mist would help.
