...and another one of my old ones. i originally did this one on a mac 8500 with 120mhz and 96mb. back then it took ages to render - now it only takes 45 seconds. the backround-forest is a tileable matte i made in photoshop mapped on to a cylinder. i added the smaller trees in this version though. they are the xfrog bonsai from the net imported.

Terrific image. I sure wouldn't be walking in there. Even on Earth you know it would be full of snakes and gators at the least, on an alien world who knows what could be in there. Even looks like some of the trees are carnivorous. Great colors is this as well.

i reworked this image: it is called "lost platoon" and can be found in my gallery. i changed a few things: rendersettings,light...etc and also the size :)
