Description

This was originally a college peice created to answer the brief "Lost, in the middle of nowhere" I took inspiration from the old joke "what do you call a polar bear in the desert? lost!". Ive alway enjoyed "dis-association" in art, which simply means removing an element from its common environment and implanting it into an alien environment. The result can be very thought provoking, funny, or disturbing. Many a scifi artist or conceptual artist has employed this tactic in their work. Ive tried a similar idea with my pic "Enjoy it while you can". Anyway I completed the pic in Gouche and the original is approx A3 in height. Does anyone think prints of this would sell?

It's disturbing. The bear doesn't look out of place at all. You'd say it's enjoying the trip! Nice style that of yours.
