Description

The final part of the train trip I do every day. Once we hit Clovelly Station, an old derelict station that no-one uses anymore, I know we're almost home. Looking out the train window over Fish Hoek's little bay, you sometimes see seals playing in the water, the odd porpoise or dolphin, surfers, swimmers and once to twice, a rare great white shark, though I've never managed to see it myself or get it on film. Louise (Shadane) ought to remember this view all too well considering she stayed just above Clovelly Station for a while when she first moved to Cape Town. I can still remember walking down the road above the station and seeing her sitting in the window bay with her hand out the window trying to dry her nails... I love my little coastal town. It's not so little anymore, but it's home and it's better than living inland where you never get sea-breezes and cooling mists.

I like the shots.... like how you presented them, and the story that goes with it makes it all the more touching...

Nice interesting collage, especially the way the bottom half has been melded into one. You had me quite confused for a while. Thought I was somewhere else

Well done on this one. Its an interesting set and the way the water blends thru the two images is clever.
