Description
Please forgive my wide latitude in the posting of this piece. However, it is 3-D and elements of Poser and PhotoShop have been used. The face of Jesus was created in PhotoShop using a pen and tablet. It was then printed out and adhered to a CPU in which pin rows make up his crown of thorns. His body (outline cut out of circuit board) was created in Poser. The base is aluminum, which I used a sander, grinder, and airbrush on. The next layer is brass, and after that the circuit board. On top of that is a frame of circuit board pieces in which thin red wire has been strung and fastened with small nails. The wire goes through the sides of the CPU and forms the cross.
So this piece uses both software and hardware, 2-D and 3-D rendering programs.
