I just love photo mosaic software. It's so much fun and the coolest things sometimes happen when you play with the settings. Add to that one of those $5.99 CDs that has like 10,000 royalty-free images in .jpg format and I'm entertained for hours ;o)

Yep, playing is so fun and this actually is pretty cool! You can almost find yourself staring at all the images in there. lol. Very creat and wonderful work Nathalie!

thats too cool - i love those photo mosaics since a long time, but i mnever got a software to try such a piece by myself - so if you could do me a favour and tell me what software u used? - would be cool - thanks for all my friend...

When I first saw this rather eye-opening render - I thought, "My goodness, how on earth did she ever have the patience to do this?" Then, after reading your prologue I began to understand that you had the help of both a software program and some royalty free photos, the image began to take on an easier to understand creation. Still, all in all, this is a gorgeous piece of work and I can still see that it took some pretty fancy finger-work on your part. I had started looking close at the images to see if you had used any of your own, but didn't see any - love the sea horse one...lol.
