She's certainly melting away as the stone birds just sit and watch. They look like they are starting to get a little hot as well, the sun is beating down, destroying all. Nature, once again, will ultimately find a way to survive. Terrific work!

I really like what you are doing with the Poser figures (the melting effect)- I don't know how you did it but it looks great - I agree with wildfire it does have a sad feeling altho it could be like shedding skin to become something new. Excellent !!

Naked woman covered in.. crap? I'm not crazy about this one, it looks like it was made out of plastic - it doesn't really evoke a viceral response out of me. Is there a way to make it less "3D rendered" -looking and more gritty and lifelike? Would that ruin the whole idea?
