This is very good, both subject and execution ! Do you know the story(true) of Greyfriars Bobby ? If not, go do a google search for it,.....it is very similar to the story behind your image.

Thanks for the info, sackrat...will check it out..is it like that movie from way back that featured "Benji"...the dog who spent his days at his master's gravesite...and went home each night, to return each day?

I love this. It reminds me of the story of Greyfriars Bobby, the little dog that kept a vigil at his master's grave for eleven years. Oops, just saw that sackrat said the same thing. It's a lovely story, though and worth checking out. I had to leave my two dogs in Tennessee when I came to Florida on family business, and my husband said my dachshund is "grieving". It breaks my heart. I talked to her on the phone and she seemed better after that. This sounds crazy unless you are bonded to, know, and love an animal like I do.
