What lurid dreams lie
Beyond mans brow.
Shapeless shadows singe
His minds eye.
While fear clings
Welded to his skull.
Morality drifts comatose
Upon clouds of technology.
An evanescent thought
Replaced by torrid realities.
The storm enraged
Cries out for reason,
Though no quarter is given,
Droplets cascading upon
His mindless rein.
