Description

Hello and welcome. This is something different for me, first, its a colaboration, i worked(in a way) with someone else, and second, its an image i created for the first tutorial I'm planning on posting in here, at Renderosity(I owe this community a lot, so maybe I could do something for it too). This is a concept for creating a mutated monstrosity, You can see stages 1, 2, and 3 here. On next image(I should post it on monday or tuesday) we will do colours till it's finished. Later on, I will write a tut explaining full process. My great thx for this goes to Aerin. Aerin is SpiritOfGabriel's son. He drew this image that you all can see at stage 1 as a gift for me. So i decided to use it, and tweak it a bit(with his permission of course).Btw, Aerin, if You will ever againg call me a computer geek, I will take a plane to states, find You, and even Your beautiful mother will not save Your little butt ! :)) Stage 1 - first, initial render of a monster, drawn with ink pen, quick, but giving us idea what should it look like. Stage 2 - redrawn with pencils, clean version of first renders, this is actually one of many versions, as You can see, I changed some details that I didn't like. Stage 3 - Last one of sketching. Its all done in Photoshop now, using tools like: ereser, burn and dodge tool, and some typical brushing. Now...the fun will begin in next episode, where I will show how we apply colours and everything else(shodows, lights, details). Hope somebody will like my idea. Any comments and crits always welcomed. Have a great day. Luke aka Ringwraith

I can not possably add to what has already been said. I admit that free hand art is definately not in my bag or tricks ... or is it I wonder. Thanks to you I will explore your tut and find out. Hard the believe that almost 55 years has passed since I won awards in State free hand art - juvelile divison of course; and none since. I wonder what could have been had I used the College art scholership I won ... Thank you again for memories and sharing. Dwayne

Well.. I realy like to see what's goin' on with this monster through stages (though I have some comments about basic design of the creature but that goes to Aerin and it leaves me with my mouth shut :) ...) Keep the work in the same progress. The stages change pretty well.
