Emma's throat tightens as she thinks of the woman who almost killed her. "So...is Lucistra around?" "No," Derek answers. "Sinistra sent her away a few weeks ago, when it looked like you and April weren't coming back." Emma: "She caught April by surprise that night - when we still thought her name was Kelly. I'd really like to get my hands on her someday." "So would I," says Derek, looking distant for a few moments as some painful memory surfaces from long ago. "But she's a dangerous girl, that one. I've been here for...well, a long time, and not once have I seen her let her guard down. You'd be dead before your first stroke fell. But listen, we can't do anything about her until she's back at the Temple; and Sinistra will only bring her back if she thinks the Order is under threat." Emma: "You've got a plan." Derek nods. "There's a new girl. Her name is Amy. She came in just a couple of nights ago, but Sinistra seems very attached to her. It would really piss Sinistra off if she went missing..." Emma: "Where is she?" Derek: "She has a room on the third level, right next to the stairwell." Emma: "Why isn't she in a cell like I was?" Derek: "She's here willingly. Abandoned by her parents, or something. Sad story. A nice enough kid." Steely resolve sets across Emma's face. "I'll go get her." Derek nods, pleased. "I'll get rid of those guards. Good luck, Emma. And, er...say hi to April. You know, when she's feeling better." With that, he turns and walks off into the great hall. He calls the guards and leads them toward the dungeons, leaving the path clear for Emma.
