I love the character and the way she's made in full :) I am not too sure about the background...too "easy" maybe.. but really, the character in itself is more than enough to love this :)

Kid.. there is lots of great stuff going on here... your progress is truly continuing... re: backgrounds... try putting your characters into scenes that they fit into.. don't worry about abstract backgrounds, draw thm and color them as you do the character.
