Description

A test render created with LightWave 3D. The "Barracuda" models were created by Django (thanks for sending them over, my friend!!!) and converted into LWO format. Still not sure what kind of a scene to put these beauties in right now. Any ideas would be most welcome! Thank you for taking the time to look.

wow - this looks awesome! hmm... no idea of a scene?... how bout this little suggestion: a couple of Barracudas attacking a large cargo ship :) "discrete" explosions, so as not to shadow the gorgeus models - a nice battle :) then again, knowing you, you've probably already thought of this ;) congrats to both you and Django for these great models :)

Cool pic Moe, the motion blur is very good, looks like a still from a sci-fi movie.

Seeing the wings, it makes me want to see them with clouds. ~_~

Cool ships Moe! I think seeing them swarm a capital ship would be very cool!

One of those could land on your Landing Pad in Dystopia, however the Barracudas do look cool during flight though. Nice render.

They are perfect for an animation, great modelling. I would have let them a fight against some other ships in a canyon of a desert-planet, with a lot of motion blur and fast scenes. Would be looking great. Corven

Cool ships, Dj, but I think I've already said that, and nice work, Moe. Hmm..I'd be thinking of a scene something along the lines of the fleet scene in Starship Troopers with the bug plasma winging through a swarm of these things and the odd capital ship in the background.

Yeah, I agree with Corven, you should animate this, I am sure it would rock!

Great motion and depth! Punching threw the upper atmosphere of a planet or leaving behind the aftermath of there wrath? :)
