Description

This painting is riding along the same lines as "forgone Ramifications", one of my favorite paintings.... and one that is also up on my bedroom wall. It is mixed medium with oils on canvas measuring 53" x 53". I have been trying to paint for a number of weeks but always found my path to be blocked by one reason or another. This weekend however I have been blessed with two new paintings born into the world. You can see the other new one "The woman in the waves" if you go to my website at www.pwason.com. I hope you like them. The digital camera I borrowed to photograph them suck... sorry about the quality. I'll get better shots later.

Mmm, don't think it sucks that much... it still captures the relief surface.

It goes well with your other works, so distinctively yours. If this photo "sucks", wow... can't wait to see the "real" one later!

Splendid work, and it's so cool to see all the intricacies of the paint itself!

Even though you might say "well, my demented blind 6 year old brother could do this", the beauty of some of these paintings is not the work, but the end result. Paintings like these can be very inspirational actually because you can interpret them in so many ways. As a matter of fact I see some sort of dream in this, the blue part in the middle being some sort of king in his own sub dimensional kingdom.
