Ive been trying to do a character that looks like me. Not quite theyre yet but its getting close.BIOIm a 46 year old Software Engineer living in Wisconsin, United States. Ive been married for 29 years and have three daughters and two grandsons.
I always thought I had no artistic skill whatsoever but when a friend at work introduced me to Poser in Sept 2003 I was fascinated with what he could do. Bren is the person who gave me the nickname of digi-b. Anyway he took off for our division in China and Ive been alternately blown away and frustrated.
I posted my first image at Renderosity on Oct 2003 and surprisingly nobody deleted it and told me to stop wasting their disk space. Instead Ive meet some really great people and received a number of very generous comments. Renderosity is a fantastic place!!

Wow, if this is your first attempt, then you have a serious talent for hair painting. This is good!

I really like the background effect here. And I agree, your hair painting is phenomenal for a beginner! How dare you? LoL Only thing I see is that there appears to be just a tiny bit of poke-through in her breast area? It may be the texture of the bodice, but I can't really tell. Some cloning over those small area should do the trick though. (whispers in your ear that you better go buy some lingerie for your wife before you get in any deeper) ;)

Sheesh! I wish my first, second and following attempts at hair painting were as good.

Holy crap my friend! What is this tutorial you speak of? I obvoiulsly need to get it right away. I can't believe this is your first attempt -- I am so impressed!

The tutorial is Crash Hair Tutorial in the tutorial section. It's fantastic. Sorry about the poke through on the bodice. I guess having a three year old squirming around on my lap wasn't the best time to try this.
