Yes, indeed so sad! Your wonderful image shows that emotion so well! Bravo!

Sad and angry, the whole image is screaming it. The darkness, her face. Why does it have to come to a killing before a madman like that is stopped?

I saw this on FOX News when the Amber alert went out. Its extremely sad that our goverment allows this shit to happen, to be able to take the life of an innocent child, with all thier hopes & dreams just vanish because the system is so fucked up! Its a shame our goverment doesn't take care of the things it should be taking care of, instead of taking care of crap they shouldn't!!!
This is a beautiful tribute Leah! My heart goes out to the family!

Absolutely great job expressing yours and everyones sentiments with your art work. This is one sad sad world where the justice system lets monsters like this back out onto the streets.

Excellent expression Leah and your right how could they let some one walk who did all that before he killed this little girl?

OMG I didn't hear about this!!!I think its a shame how innocent people can be locked up for life and yet a person whose guilt and refusal to change their evil ways can be given full leniency by the law!!!M'lady,I believe in the death penalty when a persons guilt is without question...have heard of way too many innocent people being executed to think otherwise, but this sonofabitch deserves a quick and painful death!!People have to understand that the death penalty isn't mean't as a deterrent...its a statement by society that some acts are simply unacceptible and call for the harshest punishments!!I blame both the bleeding hearts who cry for the murderers and the cold hearts who care nothing for executing the innocent...the sad thing is that there is a middle ground if people can just set aside the idea that there has to be two sides to every story!!!I guess you can tell I'm a bit ticked...I always get emotional when I hear about these things and its not the individual who's to blame...its society itself and how we allow ourselves to be set against one another by uncommon fear when we actually share the same belief.Sorry for the long comment...but had to let it out as I for one care more than words can tell!!

I have only been looking at your images the past two days (I'm new); you put so much emotion in your faces! Your work is beautiful; I'm quite sure others enjoy viewing your images as much as I have. It's quite obvious the pleasure you take in creating a piece. Please continue your wonderful work!! It is a shame something so lovely was brought to be because of something so traumatic... I have a 10-year-old daughter & 5-year-old son and can relate to the anger, hatred, and sadness surrounding the situation of missing (and/or murdered) children. I feel there is not enough done to protect our children. These offenders "serve their time" (serve what time?), and are set free to damage or kill more children -- and under the knowledge of our law officials. To all of you: there is nothing on this earth more precious than our children; it is up to us to protect them, nobody else is going to help us, and you never know where danger lurks. In a way, this image represents us all, whether mourning the loss of our own child, someone elses, or dealing with the fear of the unknown that faces our little ones.

Im with you. Our justic system is f*cked up beyond recognition. I do not know where to begin, but to be arrested 13 time and not be in jail??!? For prisoners to live with cable T.V and the right to sue if they do not like the taste of their food? For people to be able to sue fast food places because they gained weight?!? What really upsets me is that they make such a huge deal out of a murder of a child but as soon as they find the killer, the whole thing is forgotten!!! You would think the system would WAKE UP and start actually start taking action!
