Here are Chuck's personal words to the community:
I am a self-taught artist, formerly working in traditional or conventional media. For the last two years I have been experimenting with CG (Computer Graphics), and trying to transition from traditional/conventional media to digital imaging. In a few words, I simply love art and always have. Many of my images are "post-worked" by hand, re-scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. On occasion, I still use pencil, Prismacolor, Silverpoint, Pen & Ink or painting to achieve the desired effect. Whether executed the "old way" or the "new way" or a combination of both, which I often fall back on.
Art is art and it is the end result that is (hopefully) appreciated.

Great, evocative mood piece with very subtle color work. Didn't notice the large face in the sky at first glance. I think I see outlines of other faces in various places, but it's hard to tell if they're really there or my imagination is creating them. In any case, a beautiful image!

I missed the face at first too--this is one of those images where the more you study it the more you see! The first thing that I thought when I opened it was wow! Such life and energy and color! I hope some of this energy comes to your life too!

Ok now ive seen them both and this one is just richer in the reds, both are just mystical. With every one I am so impressed with your ability to create such passion in the colors.
