I always get speechless when I look at an image of yours. What can I say to cover all those felings and thoughts that arise. It is deep, it is so beautiful. To pick a detail,I especially love the pink in the petals and butterfly for the contrast they make to the greenish background and the eyes of course!

I can't either find the words here... All the words seem to be cliches or plate... A master piece of art! All emotions, all lines from sketch kind to extremely finalized ones create a new world for infinite stories to tell and hear... and touch. Supported by at the same time delicate and strong colors... Thank you so much, Bev, for this enjoyable and imaginative image!!!!

Been looking forward to this! Like pretty much all your work there's something about it that reaches deep inside and disturbs, bypassing the logic centres on the way in and going straight for the jugular. Like a slow-release drug, but can't make up my mind whether it's positive or negative. I feel it leans more toward the negative but it's open to interpretation. The flower petals suggest she's been recently broken, so recently in fact that they haven't yet begun to shrivel and die. The insects make me feel an intense irritation, as if she's utterly unable to speak, even move, while a frenzy wells up inside her that she can't control. Outwardly however, she appears normal and the eyes even try their best to feign defiance. Something we can relate to, I think...
Thanks Bev for once more flooding us with a plethora of emotions. Will write back soon... 'til then hugest hugs :-)

Wow...love it! Your eyework is excellent. Are those flower petals or a dismembered butterfly? The ambiguity makes it that much more interesting. Excellent work!

When I ran to see this earlier I found myself totally lost for words, her eyes, piercing through mine and stealing my breath. Back to look at her again, many hours later, I find myself even more enraptured than this morning. The longer I stare the more uneasiness wells up inside and, being blocked by the lump in my throat, it prickles tears in my eyes. hugest hugs Thank you for being so talented! I'm in total awe!!!!!!!!

when I think of perfection of lines, and fantasy in exposing the most abstract concepts in the most unique way, I think of what you do. you're far more that I could ever define.
