I was going to suggest reducing the image size ... but you already took care of that. OTOH, I can see that your images have very small file sizes -- you may be using too much compression (sometimes stated as JPEG quality).

You could almost make a list of all the ways that frown could be interpreted. Hey, that's a thought... a list of possible emotional connotations, written in verse... how about that? :-)
About JPEG compression, setting 10 in Photoshop is about right... low compression, high quality ;-)
