Description

"Black fog" Fifth photo of the series "Battlefield, Destruction of the War" Date of this photo: January 31, 2004
The Spanish Civil War was glory for the generals, was glory for the Church, was glory for the financial powers, but not for the people as the majority of us, for this people, this war, was destruction, death, hunger, orphans, jail, exile, illness... as a black fog. Thanks to the people who commented on my last photo "fresh winter light"

I shiver when I look at your photo, you have caught the gloom and destruction of this scene so excellently, and your words echo this.

Good pic. A shattered weapon in the foreground may have reinforced your point? Otherwise the destruction might have been caused by earthquake.

I find this picture beautiful and compelling even though the history of the subject matter is of sadness. Perhaps because it reminds me of myself.

Yes Sir. Beautifull work. At the start of 1900 in a war 10 % of the victims was civilian, now in 2000 90 %. Horror. You captured the desperate feel of a normal human in those situation stunningly.

Ah, Francesc, sorry about the goofy comment I put here a sec ago (seems like ages) wanted to make it up for you. I like seeing your works. Sometimes it feels like not leaving any comments. Just 'd like to go around and think of them instead. Sometimes I do. But is seems so stupid to say things about composition and colours and DOF and this and that. Like you didn't know about it before us. Duuuh! I don't feel like telling you how good your work is. Everybody sees it for itself (and if they don't? They don't know what they're missing!)! It is so obvious, it is crying for mental help to try to say something that sounds nearly that professional like the work itself. Sometimes I just wish to dress my thoughts and feelings in words ... and oh, how little words I can, how unimportant they become after just writing them down and taking second look at them. Words means nothing to me. I am word blind. If happy about it? I don't know. I know nothing else, it's my reality. It's the way I am. It's the way my friends know me. Words are not my foundations. Deeds are.
laugh Look, I made it again: I wrote en essay about nothing. Is it worth anything? I do not know, I have to take a second look ;)
BTW: you rule here! Take care of your self... and each other, is what rulers should do.
