Description

A kingdom, built into the canyon walls, gaurding the many bridges across the Rift. I wanted to create a city that is based around these massive bridges, make it fortified but keep it "majestic" looking. I spent most of Tuesday making the buildings in Wings, yesterday I set up the scene and today It finished rendering and I spent a couple of hours in Postwork. I made use of Photoshops blending tools to add the rocks around the base of the main bridge and to the right, and the clouds are from Zhann's "dramatic skies" pack. Thanks for looking, thoughts and comments are very welcome!

It really does look majestic. It deserves more than a "vote". Youre by far the best fantasy artist when it comes to bryce. I'd call it "Tolkien meets photoshop" Excellent job and a "vote".

Beautiful, a masterpiece! The materials are wonderful, the lighting perfect, and your buildings are well modeled... It really looks ancient and vast.

Woodhurst, your work is astonishing. Reminds me of Morrowind (for those of you who are nerdy enough to play it....:-) )I need to play with wings a bit....keep the beautiful works coming!

Excellent, but that's no great surprise for a Woodhurst image. I have to agree with Vandeler about the blurring at the bottom edge though. Mind you, that could just be some crud on my glasses.
