Description

I saw how the iron oxide stains the rocks and cliffs. I sat down to rest when I caught site of what looked like a old covered wagon up on the small mesa. Funny it looks like some of the canvas is still on the wagon, bleached white in the sun. Hard to see from my position. As I started to get up a Magpie landed in the tree, I sat down, magpies can be entertaining. Looking to the gully I saw another old wagon, wrecked. Must have been water here at one time. Plenty of dead trees around. Ole brother Magpie just let out a squawk. I look to see what he is looking at. it took a while but there is the desert bobcat, looking at the magpie, or can he see me? Either way it has been another enjoyable day on the desert. Maybe I'll just take a nap.. TG and psp for post.

This is a M-a-s-t-e-r-p-i-e-c-e Frank! Such awesome work! I feel like Im looking at the real thing through a window. The pov and terrain is just perfect! Outstanding surface and post work. Your objects add so much to the scene and the Bird and Bobcat are beautiful too! "Very impressive image!" VOTE :)

Great imagery again - love the postwork, and the whole scene's superbly put together. The narrative really sets it apart, and transports you to another world. Excellent & original work. V

It's an excellent pic with a great surface and good postwork. I've only one advice. Change the position of sun. Now the sun is behind you...so there are no shadown in terrain...this looks not so good. If the sun is in front of you...the terrain became shadows and it looks more realistic.

Don't think I'd sleep with a bobcat in the area! The magpie is gorgeous! This looks so much like so many of the scenes I have seen in Arizona. You know photographs belong in the photography section!
