The choice of B&W seems to really have accentuated the features of these majestic buildings. Brussels, certainly a grand place to visit Louis.

Un sujet banal s'il en est... mais que tu rend avec maestro et qui fait vibrer la Grand'place comme jamais elle ne l'avait fait. Un grand moment de noir et blanc. C'est parfait Louis.

Great mood in this one. The buildings seem to get the last light while those clouds arrive quickly. Well done Louis!! :)

The intricately ordered architecture bounded by the disordered sky and the imperfect order in the brick work. provides a balance to the shot that is very rarely done so well. Gold Medal! Mike

Stupendous architecture picture.....!!! the angle of the camera confers to the palace an impressive and spectacular aspect....!!! another detail that I want to stand out it is the excellent exhibition that has on the sky with the very visible clouds and in having degraded that they produce a very beautiful effect....!!!!

Oh no, this is not the only CHOISE of b/w... :-) I want to call you a poet of monochrome... you make souch a tender work with this hursh material (the b/w, it's not so easy to make as it seems to some people). The sky looks like a pearl necklace and the architecture -- like presious lockal laces, indeed... I'm even happy that I don't see "all that gold"! I'm now sinking down with Roshenbach... I'll be happy if you visit Brugge for me if you are in that area already :-)

Chips, allmost missed this, youre in my favs, where the heck is that ebot when you need him/her. Strange story, but I had a hoiliday when I was 13 years old, alone, to belgium, brussel. Stayed there for 3 days in a hotel, even ordering a room was like asking for a icescream :) LOL, when I see this, I remember eating in a restaurant with a American girl, can still not understand why a 20 year old studnet would dine whiot a 13 year old bugger from the netherlands :) Nice memory, it a lovelu shot.
