Description
More progress on the starship
Endeavour, mostly in texturing the saucer and adding additional detail to the aft areas of the ship.
The smaller ship in the foreground is Tethys, the ship's science skiff, which is normally docked in the area shown almost directly in the center of the image; Tethys has three internal decks, acts as additional science laboratories while docked, and on a planet it can function as a fully self-contained science station, complete with living quarters and facilities for up to 10 people.

Very nice, I love the lighting, the ship does look like it was made of one continous sheet of metal, but then the original enterprise did too.

Thanks, biotech! I agree about the "single sheet of metal"; I'm currently working on specularity maps for the saucer and engines, and texture maps for Tethys, which will hopefully alleviate that impression :-)

There's a lost Enterprise, before the show..that bears some resemblance to this model..interesting design. great work.

Never been a big fan of Star Trek hardware, but I know good modeling when I see it. :o) Very nicely done.

I can't quite put my finger on it - but I REALLY like this image. It's something to do with being a step out of the ordinary. Excellent
