The city of Acambaro is located near Mexico City, and there, in 1944, an extraordinary discover was made. There were found a moltitude of terracotta little statues, made, it seems, by the ancient civilization of the area, that represented prehistoric animals - even some that has not been discovered yet - with impressively reproduced particulars; and even dinosaur-human interaction! Carbon-14 analisys on some of them revealed an age of approximatively 4000 years. Of course, all this is a bit strange, because dinosaurs disappeared 65 millions years before man, and only now we are able to know their exact shape by studying their bones. However, one of the clues in favor of the autenticity of the little statues of Acambaro is the huge amount of manufacts found, that could not have been falsificated in the little time they've been dig up (33.500 pieces in 8 years). On the other side, one of the clues stating the manufacts are fakes, or jokes, is that the dig site is disappeared, and recently no new little statues have been found. Whether it is true or not, I imagined a movie about it: a new manufact really seeming original, a woman who believes it is, a man who doesn't, but fall in love with her and helps her, an old archaeologist who seems to know something, and a bad, crazy guy who just doesn't want all of this to become public...
