I am a new artist - learing the ropes in the various 3d programs. I am hoping to enhance my skills through the association with the fantastic artists in Renderosity. I am a better 3d modeler than using the various render programs - but I am getting there.

Jules Verne has inspired me since I was a child. My first Jules Verne film was 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This is my Nautilus - modeled in Rhino and rendered in Bryce. No postwork added. I am working on a version with Photoshop to finish this image. Tell me...what do you think of my model NAUTILUS? Comments PLEASE!

Just Excellent! Please do more. And if you can create other underwater delights it would be appreciated! Have you ever done anything with the old TV series, "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea?"

I not only remember Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea - I have wanted to do a 3D model of the Seaview - the problem is I don't have accurate reference material to make the model. I have looked on the web - but found only some poor screen caps. Anyone that might have various views or schematic prints that might help with the general layout. There is nothing worse than modeling a project for a hundred hours to find out there is a major flaw in the design. Fans of the program are tough critics - and don't care that you didn't have a view from "the aft fifteen-degree angle showing the redundant guidance fin used in Episode #147 when Admiral Nelson repelled the Alien Dill Weed Invasion using the fin." (I guess you get the picture:) ) I would also like to do: The Flying Sub, The Spindrift, and the LIS Space Pod. Thanks for the comments.
