Description
Well, this is my 100th image.
Here at Renderosity, that is.
Not sure how I like this image yet. I haven't really looked at it.
It's too white for me, I think.
But I still like it!
They're predicting even MORE rain up here! (I live in Seattle, famous for it's rain.)
I'm watching PDQ Bach: The Abduction of Figaro
It is the funniest thing ever.
Seriously. I'm not even going to try to describe it.
As they have been for my past 100 images, modeled completely in Bryce
Post in Photopaint.
Thanks for viewing!
(This is the 10th time I've had to Upload this!)

PDQ Bach??!! That rocks!!! Hey, can you get to the Kingsgate Library? Cuz They have these 2 PDQ Bach CD's that are really hilarious. You gotta check em out! Oh, erm. Yeah. Good job on the image. There's so much detail!

Wonderful work here. Ive been working in a refinary for a while and was trying to figure out how to create what I see there using bryc. Your have just helped me figure out a major part of my problem with this piece. Great 100 posting, cant wait to see 200:)

I don't mind the white! The cool models come thru just fine - on the flip side, why not try some more lighting schemes, we'd all be happy to compare and contrast any variations! [We could "average" our techinques - mine are usually too dark!]
Eickman
Wow! Really Great! I wish i could do images like this! Excellent!

Great 100th pic. Your Bryce modeling is superb. The details are phenominal. How long does it take you to model something like this?

why are some parts un anti-aliased(near the billboard, ect)? Also there seems to be blurring in some areas but not others(doesn't seem to be DOF).I have also noticed quite a bit of repeating in objects in your last few images(stairs, girders, and the apparent mirroring of the scene to add depth, ect). Also there seems to be stray shadows that don't match the streaming light or the main scene light(upper right area,on the wall, the rails cast a shadow. The omni light that was used was too bright or needs soft shadows turned on,or needs to be excluded all together).Just my opinion.
Mrdodobird
Well yes, you're pretty much right on all points. Most of what you mentioned was pretty much just because I don't have that fast of a computer. (It's fast, yes, but not fast enough to be doing any serious soft shadows), and that's why so many of my images have mirroring in them. Actually though, this scene has no mirroring in it. I did a complete different scene for the "background" (then combined them later). However, I made the mistake of putting the bridge in there again, so it looks as if I did mirror it. The truth is, really, I make very few images for the gallery. Most of them I make for "just for fun" movies I'm working on, and since I have so many shots I need to finish, I tend to recycle my stuff. Though it has been bothering me, and I have been meaning to cut down on it. Sorry about the long post, but this brought up a couple things I've been meaning to mention.

I love this.. no matter what you use, reuse, or how you do it.. mirrors or no mirrors.. to me it's not what you use to get it.. but the final product when it's done..and to me.. It's awesome as I think all of your work is!!!! =)
