Cool, the wood texture on the cupboard needs some antialiasing, so it looks quite procedural because of that. (is it?) The texture on the stove is superb. The what happened on the top left-hand corner, there seems to be a pure white cupboard door.

That's really cool :) I agree that the wood textures doesn't look too realistic, maybe some minor downscaling, a bit of bump and there you are ;-)

... just to specify, the "wood" texture isnt supposed to be wood, but plastic laminate, with imitation of wood,...

So much of this is incredibly done... you should be quite proud. The only weak spots (much rarer than its strong points) are the lower shelf cabinet on the left and the wood cabinets under the sink... th eedges need to be beveled and irregularly aligned in order to match the extraordinary "worn" detail you've achieved in the rest of the image. You are so close.

Excellent work. Love all the small details. And the dirt is wonderful.

Well it's a really great and well observed illustration and it made me chuckle- for obvious reasons! You know- men and washing up after themselves! As for being photorealistic it misses the boat somewhat, but as a piece of illustration its super!

good start but the lightninig need improvement ( doesnt seem to match with the view from the window, to much shadowon the window from the pur bottle on the window glass for exemple) some texture need to be reworked (woods particulary) anyway your quite near realim so keep going !

Excellent scene! Love all the details! Also gives great reason not to clean more often... "I would clean the kitchen, BUT I'm doing a 3D scene." :)

This is a very good rendering. And you done fantastic work on making it look all dirty. But I think there are some very valid points that people point out above. I under stand that you wanted the wood texture under the sink to resemble plastic laminate, but if it is something you have to explain to people, then it isn't working. Also, you really would have more light coming in from the window. Play around with the wood laminate a bit more, maybe use a bitmap texture instead of a proceedural and work on the lighting from the window and this really could look very photo realistic. Good luck.

I think for photorealism, you do need HDRI, area shadows and radiosity, together which will make this an even larger project than it already must have been. It needs even more attention than it already has received. See if you can work on this scene for an extened period. DirtyNuts are a bit too easy perhaps, maybe you need to really paint that kind of corner dirt.
