I've been a 3d "hobby artist" on and off since sometime around 2000 or so. I've never stuck with it long enough to get good or to learn any advanced techniques, but when I do "play around" I have fun.
I also started messing around with vector drawing, as I can't really draw. Using vector allows me to utilize shape deformation and tweaking to create my scenes.
As of right now, July 2018, I'm working hard toward a goal I've had for a decade plus, and that is to make physical card, dice and board games for adults as well as animations and some simple video games. To that end, I'm developing my own characters in vector. The style is simplistic but I believe it will be really good once I have several items completed.

Reminds me a bit of Corbin's work that used to run in Heavy Metal.

Very nice so far. My only suggestion would be to use a more easily-readable font for the text. BlamBot.com has a couple of really nice comic-style lettering fonts you can use free of charge on non-commercial and indie productions.

Hey, this is darn good rendering and comic set-up! IMHO better than my comix attempts, altho I prefer my subject matter :p! Sweet! - Gazzy!

Very good start indeed! I think you have the 'sniff' & 'snort' words perfect for font & orientation

Looks pretty cool. I like the layout and design of it, but I agree with Orca. I think it could be made easier to read. Looking forward to seeing more!

As a fan of sequential art, I can tell you that you are on the right track. What everybody else said is correct, change the lettering, other than that it's great. Keep it up.
