Description
Based on Bernadette of Lourdes, who experienced 18 apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary and was eventually deemed a Saint.
The Character, also named Bernadette, was created by Melory. I was fortunate enough to win her in a naming contest. Oddly, the name Bernadette is the name of one of my cousins, but as I was doing a bit of research to see what type of clothing St. Bernadette wore, I found images of her as a young woman and must say there is a striking resemblance between Melory's character and St. Bernadette! Now....if I only knew how to create streaming light in Poser 5, this image could have been even better :)

Very nice image of the "inspirational" variety. Good composition focusing on the face of the character (and she has such a nice face too!) This image reminds me of the type of art work seen in a little known e-Book thingie called "Simka" that was a sci-fi novel on CD-ROM. The artwork on that was done by an Italian gentleman (I forget who because I lost the disc-- never lend out your computer discs!) I think Poser has tremendous potential, and artists like you show that it CAN be a lot more than what comes in the box. Nice job!
