Thanks for all your nice comments. I appreciate it alot. To answer your questions. The lightning setup consists of 5 lights. One arealight for the key lightning and 4 spotlights for fill, rim and the last two for just specular lightning. The background picture which I composited the shoes against is just a snapshot I took of my own hallway in my apartment, and I also used that background with a small percentage as a Global Illuminator. All textures are handpainted in Photoshop for leather, threads and so on.
